Cartmell Fell Church Roof Project

Following consultation and advice, St Anthony's PCC have proposed to re-slate the roof of St Anthony's Church, Cartmell Fell and concurrently replace its ceiling finish and re-wire its electricity. English Heritage has been involved in the planning stage and work is expected to commence in October of next year. St Anthony's is a grade 1 listed building. The group intend to: .Reslate the church roof with Westmorland green slate .Replace plaster ceiling using traditional methods .Re-wire the outdated electricity and lighting system.
