Castle Bromwich Bell Restoration Project

To restore the church bells and renew the bell frame, to augment the existing six bells by adding two extra bells to make a complete octave. The bells were badly rehung in 1950 using a mixture of new bells and the old frame and equipment, the result is that the bells are odd struck and difficult to ring properly. The object is to make the bells easier to handle to improve the training and retention of new ringers. To make the Bells of Castle Bromwich more widely known and supported within the local community. To add an Audio Visual system in the bell chamber linked into the existing church AV system, to enable sound and visual access for people with mobility difficulties , so they can have a better understanding the art and skill of bell ringing
