Castle Island Community Park

The Association has obtained land to the north of North Seaton Colliery, on a 999 year lease, from One North East. The land sits between the village and the recently developed Ashwood Business Park.We want to develop the Castle Island Community Park on this land for health / leisure pursuits, improving people’s quality of life. Work will include fencing, soft landscaping works, plating wirks, installation of play equipment and a contribution towards the footpath.
