Castle Road Safety Railings, Pucklechurch Village

This project is for the provision of safety railings at the edge of the Recreation Ground in Pucklechurch.The Recreation Ground is situated adjacent to a busy main road, with the play equipment located at the Castle Road end of the site. Opposite the park and across the main road is a pub, and concern has been expressed about the danger of children running in to the road to retrieve balls etc. as well as to get to parents/carers who are visiting the pub. The new fencing will be Bow Top galvanised fencing, which is designed to be difficult to scale and will force children/carers to use the entrances and crossings to get into and out of the park safely.
