Castle Woods Restoration Project

To restore the conservation and wildlife condition of Castle Woods (Llandeilo) SSSI’s ancient woodlands, and to improve visitors' access and understanding of the conservation value of this nationally important nature reserve. The project will encourage habitat regeneration, remove invasive species and promote future veteran trees. Stockproof fencing will be replaced to protect the woodland, nest boxes will be erected and provision for visitors will be improved.
