Castlecroft Gardens

Castlecroft Gardens Bury aims to engage a local group of black minority ethnic residents to improve a public amenity green space. The project will use the environment as a vehicle to engage black minority ethnic residents in their local community, by improving Castlecroft Gardens using a cultural theme. The project will provide an opportunity for minority groups to play a part in shaping the environment, and improving the area for the wider community. This will involve community consultation, capacity building and community cohesion with the project resulting in the improvement and creation of a public amenity space representative of cultural diversity.
