Cathays Community Centre Kitchen & Reception Development

Create a new build between two existing buildings, joining them together.
This will expand the café kitchen, allowing them to take on larger outside catering jobs, expand the Cathays High School food project, and develop further community food projects. Extra seating space will be created, to be hired out for meeting space at quieter times in the cafe.
A new reception and office area with an obvious entrance will enhance the visibility of the Community centre in the local community. It will also enable more effective monitoring of access to the back building, which currently causes problems both for user groups and Centre management staff.
The new reception area, as well as providing a space for user groups to converge, will also serve as an informal meeting area.
