Cathkin Braes Countryside Interlinking Path Network and Environmental Project Phase 7

This project will carry out environmental improvement work to the Cathkin Braes Country Park. These improvements will include the construction of new pathways, the upgrading of existing pathways, the realignment of timber steps and the installation of some bollards. These improvements will allow a wide range of user groups greater opportunities and also link and compliment existing cycle network and footpath routes that are being developed by partnership projects. It will also assist the Scottish Executive’s Countryside Access Code and Woodland Management Plan (WIAT) being supported by the Forestry Commission Scotland.
