Cathkin Road Interconnection Path and Hedge Planting Project

The project will carry out further environmental improvement works to the Cathkin Braes Country Park. These improvement works will include the construction of a new roadside pathway, the construction of a new drainage system, the planting of roadside hedgerow and dry stone dyke restoration. In keeping with our previous undertakings and the Wise Group Environmental policy, emphasis will be placed on the use of reclaimed and recycled materials throughout. The project will improve the quality of life for Glasgow’s residents and visitors by improving the paths network allowing a wide range of user groups greater opportunities for informal outdoor recreation.
