Catworth Village Hall

To install PV solar panels and batteries at Catworth Village Hall, and to improve the north lobby so as to provide a safe emergency exit and additional storage. The work to be funded by LCF includes: dry line and insulate the lobby walls to reduce heat loss, raise the floor in north lobby to match hall floor level, create bespoke storage space for ladders, batteries to support PV and provide cupboards for equipment used by hall hirers, and to replace one internal and one external door to improve draft proofing, with vision panels to make emergency exit route. The project will also provide external steps with handrail to outside ground level.
The cost of the installation of PV and batteries will be covered by the Village Hall but is included here because the work will take place as part of a single package.
