St Ives Estate - The Countryside in an urban environment. The project includes: Improvements to existing footpaths and bridleways. Provision of new user friendly interpretative boards. Provision of picnic tables To provide recycle bins To create a permanent bird hide and feeding station, wildflower gardens and butterfly gardens To provide a new children's play area To provide sculptures To encourage wildlife to the Estate by including bird and bat boxes To carry out remedial works to protect the pond To refurbish two rooms in a historic building on the Estate for the use of the Friends of St Ives and the community as an information centre, classroom facility and community meeting place on the Estate.
