Cemaes Crescent Open Space Enhancements

The project aims to enhance the Cemaes Crescent Open Space as the current environment is in a poor condition due to poor drainage, erosion created from motorcycle use and horse activities, vandalism, anti social behaviour and flytipping. Therefore the space does not provide a welcoming environment to encourage the community to use the area for recreation. Through addressing the concerns expressed by the community, the overall environmental quality of the space will be significantly improved.
(1) the area will be protected and enhanced to ensure a conductive environment for play.
(2) Installation of play facilities, a multi use games area, football pitch for recreation, creation of a nature area and pond for biodiversity protection.
(3) The promotion of community cohesion and development through the use of the space by local residents, groups, schools and sports teams.
