Central Park Haworth – Children’s Play & Kickabout Area

The aim of this project is to create a play area that is challenging, inspiring and exciting that will enhance the overall play experience for children. The current provision is old and out of date and questionnaires completed by park users and local children support the need to refurbish the area. The design offers equipment made from natural wood and has been chosen by the children. In addition to play equipment for younger children, an area will be developed for older children to take part in sports orientated play such as football, basketball and netball.
