Chalk Grassland Maintenance at Dry Sandford Pit

This old quarry is nationally important due to its mosaic of fossil-rich cliffs, limey fenland, ponds, streams, chalk grassland, scrub and woodland. It is home to a huge variety of flora and fauna. To maintain the diversity of flowers in the grassland, the control of the rabbit population necessary.
