Chances Park The Labyrinth

The funding applied for is to go towards building a permanent seven circuit
classical Cretan Labyrinth which will enhance the current facilities on Chances Park.
Chances Park was gifted by the Chance family for the benefit of the people of Carlisle and is now owned by Cumberland Council. It is the only green space situated in an area of Carlisle which is surrounded by areas of significant deprivation. Friends of Chances Park (FOCP) have worked in collaboration with Cumberland Council (CC) on this and many other projects including creating wildflower meadows and spring flowering. CC have given their permission for the project and procurement will take place through them. The funding applied for is to go towards building a permanent seven circuit classical Cretan Labyrinth which will enhance the current facilities on Chances Park.
