Changes to the Harold Rankin Pavilion to Have Disabled Access, Stambridge Community Centre, Rochford, Essex

This is a project to make the Harold Rankin Pavilion accessible to disabled community. The entrance door of the pavilion will be made wider and have ramp access with handrails to allow wheelchair access. The dividing wall in the lady’s toilet will be removed, and the toilet will be moved to allow handrails to be fitted either side. The floor is to be levelled out and a commercial quality flooring will be laid. The washbasin will be adapted to allow a wheelchair access and a hot water heater will be fitted over the basin as not hot water is available at present. The entrance door to the toilet will be widened to allow for wheelchair access and a fold away baby changing unit will be fitted to the wall.
