Chapel Lane Fields – Public Access and Safety

The main public access to the site is by a footpath from a car park at the end of Bramble Way. This path is poorly surfaced and frequently waterlogged, limiting access particularly for visitors with limited mobility. The project involves resurfacing of this path along its entire length between the Bramble Way car park and the access point on Chapel Lane. In addition, the proposal includes the erection of fencing along sections of the path adjacent to the canal to enhance public safety, and the commissioning of a baseline tree survey to advise the Parish Council of safety considerations related to the site’s woodland areas, especially those impacted by Ash Dieback.
