Chapelhall Play Park and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)

The proposal is to construct a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) and Play Area in Chapelhall. The facility will be aimed at children up to 15/16 years of age. In addition to the MUGA we want to develop a play area which will have inclusive, dynamic equipment suitable for children from toddlers and juniors, safer surfacing, seating for parents and carers plus bins. The junior play equipment will include a cable runway, rope parkour course, a mobilus, a 2.4 metre single swing bay with 2 flat seats and the toddler equipment will include a toddler multi activity unit, a gravity bowl roundabour, a 1.8 metre single swingbay with 2 cradle seats and a toddler basket seat swing. The design of the play area and play equipment will comply with EN 1176 and the impact absorbing surfacing will be compliant with EN 1177.
