Charles Wilson Centre Refurbishment

The Charles Wilson Centre was built in 1979, and has accomodation for 30 people, including kitchen, toilet / washroom, and a large day room and covered patio. It is critical that the roof is replaced as it is asbestos and is in a poor state of repair. The insulation needs improving by adding an additional skin to the wall and double glazing, thus reducing running costs. The kitchen needs refurbishing to modern day standards, as does the electrical system. A fire alarm / smoke detection system needs installing. The Centre heating / hot water system needs upgrading to provide a constant supply. Full re -decoration is required.
