Chawton Village Hall – Rear Extension

It is the intention of the village hall committee to build an integral brick extension to the rear of the hall to replace an accumulation of storage sheds. The sheds were erected over 30 years ago and no longer fit for purpose. They are coming to the end of their lives with hedgehogs, foxes, rats and mice all playing a part in their downfall.
The extension will provide much needed extra storage and a ‘committee room’ which we intend to hire out as a separate venue to the main hall for small hirers, as well as being used for management meetings. The resident pre-school group have stated that they will use the room for smaller group tuition.
