Checkendon Village Hall Centenary Refurbishment

To upgrade accommodation standards in this 98 year old hall, particularly to improve comfort levels and safety for our main user a Pre-School. We aim to reduce running costs with upgraded insulation, new lighting and heating systems. With reduced running costs and a more attractive environment we would aim to increase other lettings and thereby make the Hall financially self financing with regard to operating costs. Future fund raising by Trustees can then be directed at further improvements rather than subsidising running costs.
