Cherry Hill to Old Footpath Assocition

Our objective is to raise the appropriate funds to provide a suitable pedestrian and cycle footpath to link the development of Cherry Hill with the adjacent village of Old, thus connecting the two communities. There are 70 dwellings with approx. 250 – 300 residents on Cherry Hill currently isolated with no pedestrian walkway to the village of Old. The village has the amenities of Church, Public house, Playing field (sports facilities), Community Centre and Village Hall. The route from Cherry Hill to Old is approx. 400 metres and it is clearly unsafe at present to walk along the main highway or use the verges at the roadside. The footpath would also help bring the two communities much closer together.
