Cherry Holme River Restoration

This project will re-naturalise a section of the River Trent, known as Cherry Holme, by excavating a channel that follows the ancient route of the river to redress the ‘canalising’ of the river by industry, agriculture and housing over time. Re-naturalising the river will result in a significant increase in biodiversity.
