Cherry Tree Cricket Club, Lancashire – Accessibility, Social & Sporting Upgrades

Access to sports and social facilities will be improved by laying new surfaces to the entrance and front of the club along with installation of a handrail to aid all. The dilapidated non-turf cricket practice surface will be refurbished and a new mobile cricket cage will be purchased so that cricketers can simultaneously practice within the non-turf area and on the square. This will allow more people to engage in cricket and be active. Minor repairs to the roof will prevent further damage through leaks and improve the overall look and also to some extent the warmth of the clubhouse building for all users.
