Chiddingly Village Hall, East Sussex – Cloakroom Refurbishment (006306)

The total redesign and refurbishment of the male and female toilet facilities in Chiddingly Village Hall, in order to increase capacity and provide hygienic sanitary facilities, replacing units installed, in many cases, over 30 years ago.

The male toilet is to be enlarged, increasing the number of urinals from two to three, and the number of cubicles from one to two. The female toilets will have the cubicles realigned to increase the number from two to three.

All internal brick walls and traditional wooden doors are to be replaced with laminate panels and cubicle doors, which will include safety features to allow supervision of children and locks operable from the outside in case of emergencies. Both units will have percussion taps with instantaneous water heaters and hot air hand dryers. In both cases the changes in layout and fittings will facilitate easier and more efficient cleaning, promoting greater hygiene.
