Children's museum refurbishment

We are seeking to make improvements in the free entry areas of our building which experiences high wear and tear because of hands-on exploration from our young visitors. We want to create two areas that can house artefacts from our museum collection in an imaginative and playful way to offer a focus for family reading and exploration. Local communities will be involved in shaping our project. We will use funds awarded from Suez Communities Trust to fabricate and install purpose-built museum grade showcases / diorama cases that will enable us to display larger objects and artefacts from the Seven Stories Collection. This will enable us to create attractive family friendly three-dimensional displays and scenes related to children’s books.
