Chimney Meadows: Enhancing and Restoring Floodplain Meadows

This project will restore and enhance 155 hectares of lowland meadows at BBOWT's Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve in West Oxfordshire. This will be achieved through a targeted programme of works to: - introduce an enhanced grazing regime through installing new infrastructuire including fencing and water pipes and by acquiring new livestock - create effective drainage systems by digging foot-drains and iimproving ditches - improve access to facilitate management of key areas of the site by resurfacing 800 metres of track.
