Chipper – Ferry Meadows Country Park

This project will enable rangers and trained volunteers to manage ancient and semi-natural woodland at Ferry Meadows Country Park, to nurture the complex ecosystems and conserve the vulnerable native tree stock. Volunteers will be trained to operate the woodchipper, fostering a sense of community involvement and stewardship. Visitors can explore and enjoy the woodland areas of Ferry Meadows, supporting positive health and social benefits.
