Chirnside Community Centre Refurbishment

Development and refurbishment of a Category C(s) listed, former church building to create a community centre which meets 21st century standards. The work includes: • Ground floor: o Improved kitchen facilities o New meeting rooms/hall o Better WC, storage, and access • First floor (former balcony): o Provision of a disabled/unisex WC, scullery, office space and storage • A new second floor above the main hall, using the ceiling void: o To improve acoustics and reduce heating costs o Will provide a dividable space to cater for one large or two smaller groups
