Refurbishment of the 57 year old lower roofs and associated windows above the switch room, coffee shop, front entrance and reception, and also the tower roof to provide a safe, dry and healthy environment for users of the facilities. Included in the refurbishment, we will improve the thermal efficiency of the building with the inclusion of 120mm of insulating media underneath the waterproof membrane. Additionally, the two east facing single glazed windows, which have to be replaced to allow for the insulation material, will be replaced with A rated, double glazed units.
