Christ Church, Parbold – resurfacing car aprk

The project will resurface the existing car park and replace damaged kerbs at Christ Church, Parbold. The car park holds 65 cars and covers an area of 2,300m2 (0.23 hectares). Currently the car park is very uneven and getting worse each year, in winter the surface is particularly problematic. The road to the adjacent scout hut (within the Church grounds) is currently extremely uneven and dangerous and hinders access to the hut. The aim is to facilitate increased visitor numbers to the various activities at the Church and scout hut by improving the current car park facilities which are inadequate and make the site inaccessible and unappealing for some people and some activities.
