Christ Church Pitsmoor, nr Sheffield – Hall Roof (50213/D)

The project aims to improve The Welcome Centre which was built on a tight budget thirty years ago. It has always had problems with ground water, and the design of the roof which attracted vandalism. The power supply is in urgent need of updating. The toilets require replacement, apart from wash basins there is no place to wash. The kitchen is in need of modernisation. We hope to guarantee the future of the ageing Welcome Centre and to offer an improved service to some very desperate people. The Welcome Centre is one of the last remaining community buildings in Pitsmoor.
The Trust grant will contribute towards the repair and refurbishment of the roof.
