Church Hall Lobby Refurbishment B

The church hall is currently used by 24 weekly groups/ clubs, including karate youth club, ballet, elderly clubs, mother and toddler groups, drama and dance groups, Brownies and Guides
The Lobby serves as entrance to the hall, and provides access to the toilets from the hall
The facilities are limiting, little insulation results in the lobby being cold in the autumn and winter months
“Tired” decor does not encourage repeat business from “one-off” events
The entrance and intermediate walls of the Lobby are fully single glazed from floor to ceiling, with no safety glass or manifestation. This represents a potential safety issue
The doors are ill fitting and difficult to operate, and are a security concern
The proposals are to replace the “Crittal” type glazed screens with low profile hard wood framed double glazed safety glass units installed to allow disabled access. Make good and decorate.
