Church Hall Refurbishment Project – Stage 4

The Church Hall was built in 1895, funded by the heritors, public subscriptions and a grant from The Baird Trust. The project is to improve the facilities in the Hall by adding disabled access, disabled toilets and a new kitchen.To reduce energy use, all walls will be insulatedand in the main hall , a suspended ceiling will be added together with double glazed windows. These together with redecoration will make the hall more aesthetic and welcoming to users. Hopefully this will attract more community social and recreational activities. The hall will be available to all Church members and non-members who satisfy the general terms of use. It is our aim that by making these improvements and external decoration taht we will have contributed in some way to the Community Councils Action Plan to improve the look of our village.
