Church House, nr Wrexham – Improvements (40354/D)

The project aims to make Church House sound and secure, to cure problems of damp both outside and inside the building. Repair and replace defective guttering at the front of building and create a rainwater drainage outlet; take down, repair and/or replace gutters and rainwater pipes on west side of building; repair and repaint fascia boards. Restore and repair the original 18C oak windows to the front of the building and will do this by removing leaded panes, repairing original oak frames, repairing existing wrought iron casements, priming and painting then re-fixing leaded windows. Repairs and alterations to former lavatory in yard to provide storage, to include replacing the low pitched corrugated asbestos roof with metal roofing, making good and repairing brickwork and repairing and repainting door and frame.
