CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION – PASTORAL CENTRE REFURBISHMENT PROJECT

Refurbishment of the pastoral centre at the Church of the Assumption to include the following;

1. Stormglazing for lead glass windows in the pastoral centre (protected by a preservation order).
2. Installation of new floor
3. Upgrading of parts of the electrical lighting system and some rewiring.

The objectives of the project include the maintenance of our pastoral centre for the many parishioners, schools and groups that benefit from its use such as the Christian meditation group/scriptural teaching group/liturgy of word and mass group/mission group/Drumalane & quayside close community group and the Parkinson’s disease and aa groups. The centre is also used by local yoga groups and children’s drama groups.
