Church Restoration Project

Our project is to replace the roof and floor of this 105 year old “tin tabernacle”. The roof leaks and minor repairs are not possible because it contains asbestos. The floor needs to be replaced because of its age.

Our purpose is , firstly, to retain this building for its current functions, Christian Worship and community use. Ecumenical as well as Methodist services are held regularly and the church converts into a hall for uniformed organisations and other community groups.
Our second purpose is to have an improved potential for Christian outreach and greater potential to serve the people of Areley Kings.
