City Works Phase 2

City Works is a unique community venue in the Barton and Tredworth area of Gloucester city serving a diverse community. We’ve identified capital improvements that will help us to increase the flexibility within the areas of the building that are used by the community so that we can accommodate more activities which in turn will help to improve the overall sustainability of the Centre.
• Dance Studio requires some sound insulation so it can be used for drama, rehearsals and community sharing events.
• Art Room needs separation from the Refreshment Area by an acoustic screen to enable it to be better used especially by those groups serving the most vulnerable. .
• The heating system in the Art Room area needs replacing to improve energy efficiency, reduce running costs and noise.
