Clarks Field Play Area

This project aims to upgrade the ageing, worn-out, yet still popular play area on Clarks Field in Carlisle.

The present equipment caters for both infants and juniors, but the majority of the equipment is now very worn or vandalised and the surfacing has completely degraded.

Renewing the equipment and safety surfacing within the existing footprint allows a significant, yet cost effective, upgrade to play facilities in the ward. A modern and inviting play area which is openly accessible year round will greatly add to the public amenity provision in an area where there are no other local amenities or play provision
