Cleckheaton Methodist Church, Cleckheaton – Community Centre Refurbishment (5999/D)

The project will upgrade the well-used community facility on the ground floor of the church building which is centrally located in the town. This 3rd phase in an overall refurbishment programme and will focus on the community hall, snooker room, toilets and storage facilities. It also includes the provision of a small kitchen facility at the upper level which will enhance this space for community performance events. As part of the project, single-glazed windows will be replaced with double-glazing making the community centre more energy-efficient. Overall the project will enhance the comfort and enjoyment of the 700 people per week using the community centre.

The Trust grant is a contribution towards the centre refurbishment.
