Climate Change Demonstration Garden

To help to create a new climate change demonstration garden, which will feature drought tolerant Mediterranean plants and also some exotic tropical specimens. A gazebo will provide shade and seating for visitors and rainwater recycling from the roof will be demonstrated. The garden will also feature other strong sustainability messages incl. using recycled and locally sourced materials e.g. recycled timber for a pergola, recycled plastic for garden edges and raised beds and recycled materials for benches. Signage in the garden will highlight the challenges and the opportunities for gardeners as climate change becomes a reality.
