CLOCK TOWER RESTORATION AT NEWNHAM-ON-SEVERN

The Clock Tower is now desperately in need of restoration works to ensure its continued safe existence. Due to the need for this restoration the Parish Council have consulted with several companies with regard to the works needed and have subsequently received a surveyors report for the works needed and are now in receipt of two quotes (enclosed) to undertake these works. The project would include new high-level glass, shelter to coat to window sills, re-pointing and grouting, timber repairs and carved stonework repairs. These works would ensure that the clock tower is water tight to prevent further deterioration and will secure the safety of the clock tower structure.
