Clothall Common Play Area

The project will enhance a key open green space & green corridors between housing to encourage community cohesion and outdoor activities. This will include the regeneration of a play area as equipment and surfacing is worn, dated and visually and physically imposing on the wider area. Play equipment will be included to provide toddlers, juniors and younger teenagers with challenging activities whilst the playful landscape will use boulders, planting and other natural materials to provide inspiring features that encourage imaginative play at the same time as creating an attractive landscape for residents of all ages to enjoy and help reconnect people with the natural environment. The promotion of active, healthy and sociable living will include a fitness trail to support adults and teenagers in exercising outdoors.
