Clubhouse Improvements to Expand Community Usage at Limavady CRFC

Work within this project involves installing new lighting and associated cabling and electricals in our Hall / Function Room area, Bar and Toilet area on the upper floor. This would also include the cool room, stock room, store and kitchen.

At present, the lighting is of really poor quality. The entrance into the Hall is very dull and almost in darkness in some areas. A number of lights are continually flickering, and our only option is to replace the bulbs, which doesn’t actually solve the issues linked to poor coverage. We’re also limited to 40w bulbs, and can’t actually increase the wattage or brightness, leaving some sections of the floor close to unusable in the evenings when we no longer have the benefit of natural sunlight. This is a real frustration for the club in terms of hosting weekly meetings along with functions and events, while it’s also substandard for the different external groups that use the building.
