Clumber Wetlands project

We will also restore 300m of bank along the River Poulter at Clumber Park. The river is currently much denuded and discussions have taken place with the Environmental agency to improve the river bank by planting common reed along the length where the river enters Clumber from Webeck. The reedbed is strategically located next to a significant area of wet woodland with a locally important breeding bird community.
