Clyst St George Cricket Club – Practice Nets

The provision of a new purpose built 2 lane (34m x 8m) enclosed cricket net and surface, located on land owned by the cricket club outside the boundary of the cricket pitch. The new purpose built net will provide improved cricketing facilities for both the senior and junior cricket players.
The funding request is for the cost of the supply and professional installation of the new two lane cricket nets.
The Junior and Senior cricketers currently use a strip cut on the edge of the square to practice.The quality of the training wicket and net are now not fit for purpose.The new facilities will provide high quality training area for current players, community and will enable them to attract new players
