Cnocan Burn Bridge (Fisherman’s Walk)

The aim of the project is to undertake remedial works to the Cnocan Burn Bridge, on the Fisherman’s Walk between Brodick and Cladach on the Isle of Arran. Flooding and coastal erosion on the Cnocan Burn has resulted in th existing bank seats, dislodging from the bank and making the bridge unsafe and impassable. The path is a key route on the Island providing access for recreation and everyday journeys, therefore the repairs will ensure that access can be maintained for future use. The route also forms part of the coastal way, therefore is significant to recreation and tourism on the Island.
