Cockburn Centre Upgrade

The project will upgrade a community badminton facility to enable wider usage by the local community. The facility is based in the deprived area of Govan in Glasgow and is open to the local community. The community has been consulted over the facilty and feel it would be better used if there were appropriate changing facilities and better flooring. We are looking to double the usage statistics over the first three years following renovation. We currently have 16 clubs using the facility, including a new all-women club. The facility is in a poor state of repair.
