Cockerbeck - Source of the Denes

The aim of the project is to restore, rejuvenate and improve and important urban fringe wetland site, along a previously dammed water corridor for biodiversity. The water vole is seen as a key species. Community involvement through a friends group, schools and consultation are also key to the success of this environmental improvement scheme.
