Cockpit Hole Environmental Project

Objectives are:
The restoration of the pond know as Cockpit Hole in order to provide an enhanced and visually attractive natural pond habitat and appropriate surrounding landscaped area for the enjoyment and use of inhabitants of Great Kingshill and the neighbourhood thereof.
To provide a natural pond habitat to support the education of children in local schools in relation to the associated flora and fauna.
To encourage establishment and growth of native flora and fauna suitable to a wildlife village pond and to provide the basis for maintenance of the site for the benefit of current and future generations.
